Remote Working – Working From Home

Here at Octagon Technology we have been helping businesses to be able to work remotely and access their office data even when their staff operate from home.

Many of our clients have opted for Office 365 and its tools which allow them to access their email, calendars, contacts and other important business documents anywhere and anytime on any of their devices. We’ve assisted them in creating an environment where all of their data can be accessed from the cloud via a multitude of devices. We have done this by initially setting up the platform then moving their data in to the relevant areas of the cloud. All the data is protected and encrypted. It can also be managed in such a way that some users can access some items and others cannot for GDPR purposes.

Martin is the Operations Manager and a senior member of the team loo

looking after our valued clients. He has responsibility for the more complex IT systems and is a Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 specialist. Martin also manages the support for our customers’ equipment and infrastructure with both Cloud and local facilities.

Clive has worked for Octagon Technology for 25 years and is just finishing a GCHQ accredited Masters Degree in Digital Security. In a previous life he was a qualified adult teacher, so he is a highly effective when it comes to presentations, bringing experience and current knowledge together for our clients.
