My alarm went off at 3.30am to get to site and make sure everything is working, with the server swap, before the staff get in.
There was not much traffic on the road when I drove in, but a guard dog at a next door factory did startle me when I got out of my car and it started barking.
The good news is that everything has gone to plan.
After some testing and checks to the system it was ready for business before 5.30am. If there had been a problem I would have simply rolled back to the server to as it was on Saturday morning before this whole project started.
Now it is time for a coffee.
