I have been out this morning to solve a network issue for a client. I traced the problems to a faulty cable and to keep the company working I used a 15m, that I carry with me, to put in in temporary patch, until we can get in and carry out a permanent fix.
This client is based in a small village and is one of the many businesses that Octagon Technology helps that have rural offices. A rural location is a great place to have an office (click here to see the view from the car park where I parked today) but they do present a different set of support challenges when compared to an urban office.

Update – whilst I have been writing this I have had a call out to another based village client and when I checked Martin’s calendar he has a job booked for Friday on a farm.
