Octagon Technology is a member of The Business Network Lincoln and yesterday Clive and I went to the latest meeting at the Double Tree Hotel, on the Bradford in Lincoln. Clive used a shot from the restaurant as his “photo of the day” on his blog.

It was a great meeting where we had an opportunity to network with decision makers and hear what local businesses do. We spoke about our IT support for Lincolnshire, explained some of the issues businesses need to consider when choosing a backup system and warned people off opening unsolicited email attachments. Following up from the lunch Clive is meeting with one of the members to tell them more about our Hosted Exchange and how it will help them manage their email, calendars and company contacts list.

Whilst Clive and I were networking (and eating a very nice lunch), Martin was unlocking a password protected PC for Stuart and Francesca. A job he completed before the meeting finished so they could take the computer home with them.
