As you know, we are members of Branston Business Network and again this year the group was helping at the Branston Christmas Market – which was held last Saturday. Clive was there, ready with his camera! (Have a look at his daily photo blog at clivecatton.co.uk.)
Branston Christmas Market
The day started early for many people as things had to be set up once the village roads were closed. Below Darren, Greg, Ben, David and Clive from the Branston Business Network (and others) are setting up the stalls, in the church square for the Branston Christmas Market early on Saturday morning.
The Branston Christmas Market was rich in entertainment for the families, such as rides or games. The visitors could enjoy a variety of fresh, locally prepared food, tasty drinks and of course mulled wine. Below are Diana, Vicki and David on the Christmas lollipop and Toffee Apples stand which Branston Business Network set up – it was just as popular as last year with the children as everyone wins a prize.
There was a Christmas Tree competition in the Church, raising money to support one of the local charities – here is Branston Business Network’s entry.
We had an enjoyable time during the Branston Christmas Market.
