StarShipSofa had already been running for several months when I discovered it, but I was able to “catch up” from the online back catalogue of shows. Since then it is the podcast on my iPhone that I must listen to as soon as possible after the new show is released.
It is a true magazine show, based around a speculative fiction story each week and a variety of fact articles of which Science News by J J Campanella and Looking Back at Genre History by Amy H. Sturgis are two of the long running highlights of the show. Recently Tony has made some great links at NASA and has run some fact articles about current space missions that should not be missed by anyone with an interest in space – in the same show announcing Ocatgon’s sponsorship there is an excellent article about the Rosetta comet mission by Katherine Inskip.

StarShipSofa and Octagon Technology
Octagon are planning a number of StarShipSofa events for 2015, these include:

- Promoting StarShipSofa through our social media connections
- … and helping Tony build his listeners
