1. Samsung Galaxy S6
This is the phone that has what it takes to compete with the iPhone market; it has an excellent camera at 16 megapixels. The video and audio quality is hard to match, all this packed into a 5.1 inch screen, and the design is pleasing to hold rather than the plastic feel of previous generations. The one drawback of this phone is that it is on the expensive side, but because of this you know you will be getting a phone truly worth your while.
2. iPhone 6
The most recent instalment of Apple’s iPhone, the iPhone 6 is bigger, better, sleeker and faster than its predecessor the iPhone 5S. The iPhone 6 has been remodelled for an easy hold and feel, and yet again the iPhone’s menu interface still taking simplicity over sophistication. The camera has a lower resolution compared to other Smartphones so your photos won’t be as sharp or as crisp as you may like, but to make up for this the iPhone offers a range of filters, making your photos pop with vibrant colours and emotion. Yet again, iPhones are still the most expensive phone on the market and it is said that the tech used to power the phone may not be worth the price listed. Overall this phone has a nice design, simplistic interface but has a large price tag.
3. HTC One M9
HTC phones have been boasted to have the best build quality on the phone market today, with their whooping 20.7 megapixel camera, although it doesn’t have as an impressive snapping power as other phones. HTC has a feature called BoomSound which enhances the audio quality, all these features do come with one a large price tag being a little more expensive than previous HTC’s.
4. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has all the power and features of the regular S6 but has an added bonus, those curved edges have a lot going for them. Other than that, the phone is not a real improvement over the S6 and has no other functionalities apart from the aesthetics appeal. The price is a lot higher than the regular S6 but is the most unique smartphone design yet.
5. LG G3
The best thing about the LG G3 is a reasonable price and ultra-clear screen. One of the main features of this phone is that it has a removable battery and memory card. LG’s have always been lower priced than its rivals, making budgeting a whole lot simpler. The LG G3 does have a larger screen than a majority of the other competitors coming in at 5.5 inches, meaning it may be a little big for some hands, but you can look past this as the price is of very good value.
