I wrote this blog post last week with the intention of putting it up before my holiday. However, things are not always as we plan so after returning from my holiday I decided to upload this post today.
Connor and I went on a First Aid at Work Training by Hargreaves First Aid Training Centre two weeks ago. And although it happened some time ago, I still want to share this, believing the training is very useful, relevant and needed.
We never know when any injury may happen to us or the people around us. Therefore, it is always good to have some knowledge to take care of critical situations till the medical help arrives.
The aim of first aid is to promote a healthy, secure and safe environment. First Aid Training is important because it increases safety, helps save lives, helps relieve pain, makes people more secure and prevents the situation from becoming worse.
Nick said: “The aim of the training is that every learner who leaves the course has the confidence to deal with any accident or illness either at work or home. It’s a legal requirement for ALL employers to make suitable First Aid arrangements to ensure employees receive immediate first aid attention should they become ill or injured at work.”
