Over 6 years ago, Octagon Technology celebrated its 20th anniversary, hosting over 80 guests at the Refectory, Bishop Grosseteste University.
The afternoon was a great success, and our party was hosted by the friendly and welcoming staff at B&G Venues. Angels Desserts made us a delicious, beautiful cake. Hellen Wheatley, Travel Counsellor, donated a visit to Kew Gardens and Palace for Two, which helped us raise £253 for LIVES charity.

Over the last 26 years, Octagon Technology has gone through an exciting journey to get where we are today. We have continually added new technology solutions to our service portfolio, and since our 20 year party Clive Catton, CIO at Octagon, graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with an MSc in Advanced Computer Security and Digital Forensics and became an expert in Cyber Security. We’re also just about to launch our brand-new product – 365R.
We have come a long way. Some faces have changed in our team and some of our clients have been with us since 1995. The technologies we work with today were the things of Sci-Fi when we first set up, one recession, Brexit and a COVID-19 crisis later Octagon Technology is still here!
The 20th Anniversary Party was a great way to show that we are here to stay. Unfortunately, the pandemic stopped us from celebrating our 25th and then 26th anniversaries but it doesn’t matter as we continue to support and respond very quickly to the changing demands and needs of our existing and future clients, focusing on customer satisfaction, which is always achieved through our core values: Responsiveness – Reliability – Reassurance.
