Although we all have time off over Christmas and the New Year – the nature of the work we carry out for clients means that we never really stop. Computers and IT infrastructure can have issues any time of the night or day and cyber security incidents are unpredictable. I used to go out and cover the calls, even climbing into loft spaces (see below), but now I leave that to the others. I only get disturbed for the really big issues or the cybersecurity incidents.
Kamila has emailed all our clients telling them about our Christmas and New Year arrangements for 2021/2022, and they were included in our newsletter – I thought we had better put it here on the blog as well.

Smart Thinking Solutions – specialists in cyber security, governance and compliance
I will be continuing to write the daily cyber security news blog on Smart Thinking Solutions over this period. I am sure the bad actors and hackers will have set up their scams and threats to run automatically over the holiday period, whilst they are off enjoying their ill gotten gains, taken from those that are less informed about how to defend themselves!
Keep up with the cyber news and keep yourself well informed on what the threat landscape is like and how to deal with the threats. If the worse happens then you know who to call:
Smart Thinking Solutions – Cybersecurity Starts in the Boardroom
Better still call us to help you set up the real world systems, policies, procedures and training that a board of directors know they should have but are not sure how to do it or why they should spend the money. We can demonstrate this to you. We have a range of internationally proven frameworks that include presentations and workflows, for the CEO, CFO, CIO, CISO and other board members and the managers and teams who have to implement the solutions. Using our frameworks can make your operation more effective and probably save you money as well!
