We’re back. It is that time of year again when some of you out there in internet land need a gift for a geek partner, spouse, siblings, friend, relation, boss, etc., etc., etc. – I am here to help.
Here is my personal selection, various prices, all geeky. There may be that ideal gift on the list, or the list may give you an idea of what to get that geeky person (or yourself).
There are no affiliate links here as the list is just for fun.
Enjoy the list. I am going to resist the festive greetings in November.

A Screwdriver for Everything
This is a classic “geek-style” present. A self-contained precision screwdriver set with a bit for nearly everything. It also includes some spudgers (a geek word if there ever was one) and precision tweezers.

…if that screwdriver set is too large…
Geek tools are pocket tools. This little device even has a ratchet and takes standard bits.

Periodically I Include a T-shirt
Not much to say about this – except Jeremy has one. Choose your gender.
Sounds on the Go
This is the first of two gifts on the list that are on my Amazon wish list for this Christmas (or Wedding Anniversary). No point in writing this unless I can stack the odds in my favour.
The reason this Bluetooth speaker made my wish list is twofold. I want to take it with me when I go away but the most use it will get is in my Summer House Office playing music from my iPhone.
This was my life
I only get involved in the day-to-day IT support when everyone else is either busy or on leave but this mug reminds me of when I did it every day. Geeks everywhere will like this gift.
Do you like books? Try this mug.
Travel Cutlery Set
If your geeky significant other travels for work they probably end up having takeaway food in their hotel room whilst watching repeats on E4 on the hotel TV. Here is your chance to do your bit for sustainability. No more plastic disposable cutlery. I have included a pocket knife set and folding cutlery in the past two Geek Present lists, this time I had been asked to include a conventional portable set. Here it is, easily packable in the corner of a laptop bag.

Power on the Go
I often include power banks in these gift lists – you can never have too many. This one has a USB C port with a high-power output which will fast charge your Apple Watch on the go – now you know why this is the second entry on this list from my Wish List – among other devices.
Anker power banks are the best quality and the power capacity quoted can be counted on – I have three of them, all USB A output. This power bank has a useful information display rather than an LED torch.
Good Advice
A pouch is always useful for a geek – they will always have something to put in it. (True and for Clive even better if it has a zip – added whilst proofing Diana.)
Coffee = Geek
This is for coffee lovers…
…but other beverages are available.

Someone else’s Geek Present
A friend of mine sent this suggestion over. A slim backpack with enough space for the work basics and a USB A output for charging on the go. I would not rely on the water repellence.
Room for your laptop, accessories, the screwdriver, power bank and cutlery above.

There is this year’s list – written for fun but it could be useful.
Again no festive greetings… yet…
