Having done Groundhog Day and Cyber Security, it looks like it is me who is going to have to squeeze IT Support into Valentine’s Day as part of Diana’s February newsletter theme. I really thought it was someone else’s turn!
Then I had an idea!
I am part way through creating my Geek Mother’s Day gift list, so why not do a Geek Valentine’s Day gift article. Another public service article to save you from having to:
- Go to the shops…
- …but if you are a real Geek, save you browsing Amazon and Etsy.
Just a quick warning before you proceed, there are a lot of hearts and other sloppy stuff to follow, so if you have a problem with that can I suggest you have a look and listen to this, to soothe your nerves.
Because It’s Friday – A Marble Machine
Nothing offensive in this list (search Amazon for Valentine Gift to find out what I did not include). Also, no affiliate links here it is just for fun.
Let’s go then.
Right not Left
If you did, then this is probably made for you.
In a galaxy far, far away…
…there had to be a Star Wars gift for Valentine’s Day. And there was and it includes a pun. What else would you want on February 14th or even May 4th?
Geek to Geek
This gift is a bit risky – socks on Valentine’s Day!
Coded
This one is for the significant web designer in your life.
Bedtime
It’s a Valentine’s Day list – someone was going to get into bed with someone, somewhere.
Not another tee-shirt?
Thank you, Dmitri Mendeleev, for this gift.
Togetherness
Play together, stay together.
Direct
I know it is another tee-shirt but this one left no doubt as to who you should give it to.
Did I say socks were a risk?
Mind you, playing games on Valentine’s Day, unless you do it in two person mode – or more depending on your inclination – is risky!
Spooning!
Anyone who reads my articles on Smart Thinking will know the importance I put on coffee when it comes to IT, cyber security or anything else geeky. So, it was obvious I was not going to avoid a coffee gift in this list.
That’s the list folks
Hopefully it inspired you. If this list did not do it for you, I have included links below to two other Geek gift lists.
But a word of warning. If you do get something from this list, I would suggest it is not the only thing you buy or do for your significant other(s) on Valentine’s Day…
Enjoy yourself.
