Cyber threats are on the rise and the best strategy for combating them is adopting automation and monitoring.
All our support clients’ devices are monitored 24/7 using a piece of software that can monitor almost every aspect of a device.
This is not just limited to computers and servers, it will monitor and maintain network devices such as routers, storage devices like NAS boxes and even some printers. And don’t worry, Mac OS is covered too.
This enables our technicians to apply policies that will automatically apply critical updates when needed, such as antivirus definitions and Windows updates. It gives us a graphic display of the progress of these updates as you can see in the screenshot.
The general health status is also monitored so any developing problems can be identified before they start to affect your productivity, and in some cases, automation can solve the problem for you and alert us to keep an eye on the situation.
But to keep this on the subject of cyber threats – this tool can also detect ransomware attacks. It responds to them quickly, attempting to kill the suspect process and isolating the device from the network whilst securely retaining communication to our management portal. This is so that we can reverse the isolation after the threat has been dealt with.
We are offering this tool as a standalone product in an “on-demand” ad hoc capacity. For just £5 per month you can license a device to be monitored and managed to ensure it always has the best protection and the best defence against cyber threats.
