Over the last couple of weeks I have been working with Microsoft through one of their security articles.
As part of an investigation we needed something that could identify if malicious rules or forms could have been inserted into an organisation.
For instance, if an email account gets hacked and your details are obtained, then attackers can try to put rules into your mailbox that may forward all your email to another person outside the organisation and delete the original. This way they could use your email account to purchase goods or get an insight into how your organisation works and use this against you.
Working closely with Microsoft I was able to get a script together that can scan an entire 365 organisation for these rules and identify any that may be of concern. If you would like us to look at this for you, or any other security issue, please get in touch.
