UPS beep beep beep!
The other day we were called out to deal with a beeping UPS that’s Uninterrupted Power Supply. It turned out that due to the constant power fluctuations in the building the battery had failed. We were able to source a new battery and fit it for them. This is what a typical battery looks like.

CCTV on the web
This week I was asked to make a CCTV system accessible from the web. This basically allows you to view your business or home premises from your mobile or pc. Firstly I had to cable the unit to the Internet by putting in sockets as the network was in a separate building to the CCTV
